"Amazing place with five stars facilities! Plenty of room for fellow nomads outside of our own designated bedrooms, a wide range of activities to try for free, a killer view of the Acropolis from their rooftop bar and they even threw in a free drink in the evening. The place was clean, convenient, and near shopping spots. The only problem was the construction going on around the place but thankfully it was temporary. For my private room, they provided clean towels. The bathrooms were clean and spacious for a dorm kind of situation. The air-conditioner was a saviour in summer and they even had a little balcony. Amazing price for what I've gotten out of the stay. Staffs were accommodating and helpful. Again, five-stars for the facilities! For a hostel, it's dreamy!"

"I booked this in a hurry because I needed to stay near Piraeus Port, and the location is excellent. The front desk staff are friendly. Above all, the facilities were superb. It was clean overall, and there was even a sink in the room. When traveling to the airport, it was convenient as there is a subway line right near Piraeus Station that connects directly to the airport. The restaurant Too Steki Tou Artemis, located right near the hotel, is a famous eatery with a long tradition, and it is excellent! I highly recommend this accommodation."

The facilities of the InterContinental are equivalent to those of three-star hotels in China, and the service is not good, so I was still nervous when booking this hotel. The room is clean and tidy, especially when you have breakfast in the restaurant on the 8th floor, you can see the Acropolis, which is very amazing. The location is also good, and it is very close to Constitution Square and the Acropolis. The only drawback is that the room is not soundproof, and the noise of cars and motorcycles downstairs is very loud before 12 o'clock in the evening! "A real piece of rubbish. We start with the fact that they don't answer emails until you request them, the check-in takes forever and you have to fill out all the forms yourself. You have to do everything through an app that you have to install on your mobile, which works "sometimes". One of the blackout blinds stopped working. The receptionist came at night and broke it, while he was having private conversations on his other phone with a person who kept calling him and ended up speaking rudely to him. Obviously, this was at 1 AM and the option of calling maintenance was no longer viable. Breakfast is for taking photos but the last thing you want to eat in the morning. If you want a sad juice or even sugar, it seems that you have to beg for it. They tell you that there is no TV so that it is a space for relaxation but they force you to be glued to a mobile. But of course, it's cheaper to put in a 180 euro record player than a 1000 euro television. There is no shower gel or shampoo, just a bar of soap, which, combined with the design of the shower, makes it seem like you're in a prison. And I could go on... as with the mould in the pool, which makes you not want to swim in it. In short, it seems like a luxury hotel but it's not even a cheap pension."

"Pros: well-maintained place, friendly staff, amazing breakfast, nice rooftop views. Cons: unfortunately, enough that I wouldn’t stay here again. - The neighborhood is not the safest area, especially at night. - The hotel has no control over the cigarette smoking. Supposedly it is a non-smoking hotel, but I constantly had the smell of cigarettes coming into my room at all hours, even after mentioning it to the front desk. Friends in other parts of the hotel and on other floors experienced this too, and we were there a week. - The amenities are closed in the off season, and this was not disclosed at booking. (Pool, jacuzzi, rooftop bar, etc.) - Unless you book a deluxe room with a view, you will be in a black box with no natural light, facing a building with broken windows. - The light design of the rooms is impractical, especially the swinging neon light in the bathroom, which blinds you and makes it impossible to look in the mirror for more than a few moments at a time. There are a million switches to turn things on and spotlight overheads that don’t provide enough light."

"We stayed 3 nights at A for Athens in April 2024 and really enjoyed the hotel. Clean, modern guest rooms and the location is great, right across from Monastriaki Square and metro stop. Close to restaurants and shopping. The front desk receptionists were all very helpful, and the room was nicely appointed. We were in a 2nd floor room not facing the street and noise was minimal. There were drums playing in the square until very late so noise could be an issue in a different room. The breakfast included with the room was in a nice rooftop restaurant with fantastic Acropolis views all around. The food selections were very good with three different egg dishes, bacon, ham, sausages, fruit,pastries, Greek yogurt to choose from. They also served coffee, orange juice and very good cappuccino lattes upon request. We will stay here again on our next visit to Athens."

"As a solo female traveler, I stayed in a mixed-gender dorm and felt completely safe and at ease! The hotel is incredibly clean, and there are bathrooms not only in the rooms but also on each floor. The only downside is that the location feels a bit unsafe at night, making me hesitant to walk alone. I highly recommend Tavern Klimataria (Ταβέρνα Κληματαριά), which is about a 3-minute walk from the hotel – their food is absolutely delicious!"
